This, however, does not necessarily translate to luminous intensity. It does not imply that simply because LED light bulbs are small, they are dimmer than lights produced by other sources.

In fact, it can achieve full brightness in a matter of microseconds.
6) No toxicity
LED lamps do not hold Mercury vapor unlike fluorescent lamps. They are hence safer to get rid of and less toxic than typical fluorescent bulbs
